Marit grew up in a small village located on the coast of northern Norway on the Norwegian Sea. She started working in the salmon farming industry when she was 14 years old weaving nets during the summers.

After working her way up from her job as a shift worker, Marit is now the operational farm site manager overseeing 10 employees and a technician manager for a salmon farm located near her hometown.

Marit has passion for sustainability and making sure the salmon are cared for in the best conditions possible.
